There are mix reviews about this grill. There’s quite a few reviews that state that this grill has all the comforts you could ask for in a grill. The flip up grill top has been very nice for a few of the long smokes. Yes, this makes a great smoker too. Many also stated the ash pan is great. The ash pan wasn’t even full yet; a-matter-of-fact far from it after 4 times of using it. Many reviewers thought it was totally worth paying the extra for having the ash catcher.

Many like the plain black color for its simplicity and really looks awesome. The coating is applied throughout the entire grill, inside and out. This protects the metal from corrosive elements.

Set-up time took about 20 minutes, not bad. The assembly is very basic and the tools are easy to find.
