There is an aluminum griddle that you can purchase. The aluminum griddle is preferred over the cast iron, because it cleans easier.

Although, many couldn’t believe it has a plastic handle, really? You’ll need to be careful because there have been problems with the handle burning off. There is a warning label on the back. You only need to use medium setting to cook the food.

The bolt that holds the wheels on tends to go bad, to fix this, put some flat washers in between the bolt and the wheel to take up the space, then the wheels will roll easier with no wobbling.

It would be advisable to put a layer of foil on the bottom, otherwise it’s a pain to clean.

One Coleman Road Trip BBQ Grill reviewer stated that he had the grill for 4 years and there was a problem, but Coleman honored their warranty to the letter. They did send a replacement. Good customer service.

Be careful with the grease trap, it’s made of plastic and it might catch on fire.

Put foil across the entire inside and with a steak knife cut around the 2 burners and a hole so any drippings will fall into the drip pan.
Put a little bit of water in the drip pan
Spray Pam on the grills
Use a Brass Brush to clean
The burner has low to high. The high settings are only for using the burner attachment or griddle attachment.
Do Not use High unless it’s with the attachment
Use low setting
Preheat the grill- set to med-close the lid-run for 10 minutes (the lid will heat up and may warp, to keep it from opening easily. To avoid this, after unlocking and opening the grill lid, just turn the lever to the “lock” position prior to preheating. To fix this before there is a problem: use tinsnips to open the slot for more clearance while still being able to lock the lid may do the trick.
Cook with the lid up but watch it, for it may cook faster than you think
You may want to put it on low once it’s hot enough
Clean up by removing foil and placing the grills in soapy water for a few hours
